Terms & Conditions

A legal disclaimer

H&R Canine Services provides dog training, behavioural advice, and related services based on professional experience, practical methods, and industry-recognised approaches. We are committed to helping you achieve the best possible results. Every dog is different, and progress depends on factors such as breed, age, genetics, environment, history, and the consistency of training by the owner.

All training and advice are designed to support you in building a calmer, more focused, and well-behaved dog. However, the effectiveness of any training plan relies heavily on the owner’s commitment and daily implementation.

The owner (s) remains fully responsible and legally liable for their dog (s) at all times. This includes during training sessions, group classes, walks, board & train programmes, and in any public or private space. You must ensure your dog is safe, secure, and under control at all times.

I make every effort to ensure the safety of both clients and dogs in training sessions. By making a booking with H&R Canine Services you are accepting that participating in an activity with dogs, children and adults poses a risk of injury to yourself and your dog, and you agree to indemnify H&R Canine Services for all personal injury and damage to property while attending training sessions.

You agree to assume all responsibility for any risks, injuries and damages, known or unknown, which might occur as a result of your dog attending such sessions. You also agree to make any person who accompanies you to the session (s) or who comes in your place aware that they are there at their own risk. You understand and accept that your dog (and his/her behaviour) remains your entire responsibility at all times, whether or not in the presence of a dog trainer.

Clients must also ensure that:

  • Their dog is physically healthy and up to date with vaccinations, flea and worm treatments

  • H&R Canine Services is informed of any medical or behavioural history that may affect training

  • They follow all training advice and safety instructions given

H&R Canine Services will not be held responsible for any injury, loss, damage, or incident caused by a client’s dog. Participation in training is entirely at the owner’s own risk. By booking any service or purchasing a training package, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this disclaimer.

Refund Policy

H&R Canine Services - Money Back Guarantee

At H&R Canine Services, we’re committed to delivering high-quality, effective training that helps you build a calmer, more connected relationship with your dog.

We understand that investing in dog training is a big step, and we want you to feel confident doing so. That’s why we offer a money back guarantee on our training programmes and packages, subject to the terms below.

What’s Covered:

If, after fully completing the agreed elements of your training plan, you feel that the service has not met your expectations, you may request a refund.

This applies to:

Training packages (including 1-2-1, group, and board & train formats)

Programmes of 2 weeks or longer in duration

To qualify for a refund, we ask that you:

Attend all scheduled sessions and any support calls or check-ins.

Follow the training plan and guidance provided.

Provide video or photo evidence that shows you have implemented the steps at home.

Raise any concerns or struggles early during the programme so we have the opportunity to support you properly.

We are not in the business of quick fixes. Progress comes with consistency, structure and teamwork, between trainer, owner and dog. If you’re committed, we are too.

To begin the refund process, contact us via WhatsApp or email (info@handrcanineservices.co.uk) within 6 weeks of your programme purchase date. We’ll arrange a short call to discuss your experience and, if appropriate, process a refund to your original payment method within 5 working days
